last week We had to do a quick write about a tsunami and here's my descriptive piece of writing
The Tsunami
Desperately, people raced wildly out of their cars, running, screaming and panicking yet as I looked to my left, I saw a man crying on the pathway saying help I'm stuck I run towards him saving his life, he thanks me and sprints with me away from the huge surge of water.
We find a big hill and we climb to the top of it. After a couple of minutes, the tsunami comes in we see the whole town getting destroyed. It's terrible. A tear draws from my eye when I see my parents' house gets flooded and later picked up and thrown around.
A couple hours passed and it's safe to go home. We found a car and high jack and we flew home in some old family sedan. We look at all the people they look terrified this is horrible/!!!!
After driving through the water with floating dead bodies we reach our house we look and see my parents. More tears draw from my eyes and another and another and as soon as you know it I'm crying in happiness what a scary day.
START: But then the tsunami warning went again brrrrr brrrrr we all get scared trembling in the house then… we see a huge wave towering over us our mouths go dry and we all scream at the top of our lungs help help help then boom the wave smack into me and i scream while drowning under the water because its feels like I'm breaking every bone in my body then everything goes black then I feel good again I wake up in my bed and my brain just goes with it then I walk outside and…
Brrrrrr the tsunami siren goes and I know what to do so I grab my family including my parents and we get and the car and go to this massive hill we drive up and at about halfway we see that our car has no fuel so we grab the children and the grandparents and our go bags we walk up the hill it only took us half an hour then we get to the top of the hill and see that the whole city is covered in water and a huge wave was towering over the city but luckily we lived in the country the wave smashing crumbling the city into pieces all the buildings and people were destroyed it was going the exact same as my dream we got the all-clear from the news that we watched off my phone but i told my family we had to stay up here because it wasn't safe. A few hours passed by and we were going to head home but then the Tsunami siren went of brrrr brrrr and then we got a notification saying everyone needs to evacuate near or around Kaitaia and ahi para immediately we stay up on the hill and then we see a massive wave forming in the ocean but this time it looked 2 times the amount as the last time we look like a 100 ft wave goes flying right past us and we could even fell the water splashes that's how close it was after a minute our house and everything was destroyed then we got another notification saying...
