My passion project

My first tech lesson

Today we went to tech for year seven and eights it was on Wednesday 12th February. First we caught the bus which was a fifteen minute ride. Then we arrived at the Kaitaia Intermediate, after a while we went to the tech block and we lined up in our year groups. Then we went into our classes, I was in wood works with my teacher Mr Benjamin.  First we talked about what wood works was, and about technology, then we got a whole bunch of tasks and we got to use these big scary machines that cut wood, but time flew by and it was break time. Then after break we finished off the tasks and time flew by again and we were already on the bus heading back to school.  We got back to school and had lunch then we played and had lots of fun. In conclusion today was the best!

What is global warming?

Global warming is when the overall temperature of the Earth increases and is attributed to the greenhouse effect,which is caused by the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

POLLUTION

Today pollution is a big thing but is also made in lots of different ways such as car gases, factories and even cows farting out methane.

FOSSIL FUELS

Since the industrial revolution humans have been burning large amounts of fossil fuels.such as oils and gas which is producing huge clouds of carbon dioxide.The gases of fossil fuels release into our atmosphere which is causing the huge clouds of carbon dioxide.

CUTTING DOWN TREES

Today humans cut down trees so that they can build buildings on the ground they clear.They also cut down trees to make stuff like paper,dyes and even maple syrup. 

In conclusion we need to stop cutting down trees and have less pollution and our earth will be a better place.
